Support meshes

The welded support meshes manufactured by KALMET Sp. z o. o. are designed for use in underground mine workings, in the workings classified to “a”, “b” or “c” methane explosion hazard and the A or B class coal dust explosion hazard as the lagging for the support of narrow workings interacting with KS/KO and V profile shapes.

Our long-lasting experience, cooperation with research institutions and flexible response to market demands have all contributed to our offer featuring the multiple types of meshes for varied (also very hard) geologic conditions.

All the meshes intended for the Polish market are accompanied by a certificate permitting to identify a product with the “B” safety mark and/or by a certificate for conformity with PN-G-15050:1996. The support meshes are fabricated as:

  Lining chain mesh: FHM
  Double-catch lining mesh: BA light and BA heavy
  Single-catch lining mesh: heavy KJZ
